My hypothesis is statistically that the inflation rate is going towards the mean of the environment (in this case is US GDP) only because of a larger business starts to command the inflation rate as well as the growth of a nation. Oligopolies and monopolies are the goal of a marketer and presenter of greed, not the engineer (unless the engineer is crazy; or a mad-scientist.)
