*let me get this straight: western politicians complain of overcapacity of China as if they are asking for their own domestic population to work more? While there is a push to outsource or friend-shoring capacity AND wanting low unemployment to win elections? Sounds like western politicians are delusional about what catch-22 they are willing to support.
The reality is they are protecting something more vicious than higher unemployment.
