**This is a repost. Real Estate Tax IS the least  best way to tax. 

So why take it away? 

Who benefits when there is no tax to pay? 

Is the land or labor of that land productive enough to pay such tax?

It is my opinion that Real Estate tax stays with local and state governments and not the Federal.
