*We need to ask why health insurance and other certain benefits are being shunned by employers with 1099 contract work.... Rather, why the politically powerful want to keep it part of the employer when buyers of labor (employers) are thinking of commodifying what they buy (the labor)? The American labor landscape needs to change as technology might debase or devalue human labor. When companies command the turnover, you then know it is their ball and not yours. A higher price when it is yours and if the skill is unique enough then it is worth it for them to compensate.... for what, a currency that is going to be debased into inflation?PS: 6 months for HR to baseline the new hired labor for production to price metric as a discrete variable and seems to be the payback period for some business to business lending products.
