Do you support the student walkouts?
On March 14th students across the country are walking out of class to make a statement about gun violence. As an educator do you support this?
the shooters win when students do not attend class. Sure, schools need security but I think the saddest and scam-y part of the political rhetoric is that schools are turning into prison like day care centers (or like court houses) for the sake of keeping children safe. Likewise, why not have democrats' rhetoric say Trump' s boarder wall is a way to trap the Americans if America goes into chaos? I think it is a better to argue this for the sake of realistic political and bureaucratic shenanigans that is going on in America.
