you do not even need to say you went though an illness to speak on this issue.
health is an issue as soon as born or conceived. That should be the baseline for politics; the baseline that you are human; not that someone must have a story to have to speak on an issue such as health. HEALTH is on the bottom of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs; it is a BASIC NEED.
People that have to bully others to say you "need a credential" to speak on an issue are/is disgusting!
DO NOT BULLY Mr. Dore on this, it will only backfire.
