*"lock them up" is help? This kid was trapped in a foster system that failed to teach the understanding of what having power (or earning it) means.
[I am not condoning the actions done by the kid in this case or the options society has to deal with this.] When as a society do we recognize someone that wants to execute power to influence others, only with money? Only with popularity contests (voting?) How we judge what low is itself is a test for how others (societies) will judge us Americans to be the power player of the world.
