I agree that pollution should be cleaned up; but some evidence by the corbett report states that it is difficult to measure the average temperature of the climate of planet earth due to uneven distribution of measuring sticks (thermometers) in our biosphere: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL-HyviLy6c
The accord's agreement stating 3.6 degrees warming is kind of OK is not that very convincing when it is the alarms that go off at 2 degrees warming. Even then, of whom will enforce it? I am sure there are agreements in the international contracts that would state whom would enforce it and where the penalty money would go... hmmmmmm... where would that penalty money go?
Will that money go to investments into environmental cleanup when that cleanup was caused by the same actors and families that polluted in the first place? Will the monies go to the investors whom will spend it wisely on ocean cleaning projects or desalination plants to turn the deserts green?
Will global warming increase if the deserts turn green? I bet so due to more water in the atmosphere because plants take up water and about only about 98% of water that plants take up are transported back into the atmosphere due to respiration and mineral absorption from the soil.
