I wonder if the WDS and china cannot take "no" for an answer?
I know the kind of chess game that is being played and as an American I am embarrassed of my own leadership and European aristocracy leaving america and its knowledge base out to dry. There are only so many hours in a day to take care of a mess left by interstellar slave owners and there are only so many bureaucratic hurdles and loopholes that can be solved by other's. One example is zoning laws and the elected officials that are unwilling to change golf courses in suburban and urban areas into pesticide-free (and low or organic fertilizer only) orchards and vegetable gardens for food year-round. I would not like to hit a little golf ball and would like food security instead. Wealth comes from the land and fiat currency can help count it. But our Euro-American "masters" have befuddled the system that made china and other eastern cultures have a taste of distrust. I want to be clear that I disagree with death as the answer; but our political class' imagination has been thwarted against sustainable living practices by parties our of our human control.
PS. I work at a Goodwill Community Foundation store in the mid-Atlantic coast (America); we have been getting so much stuff from house downsizing people that it is insane.
