Here is how the scam would work. Trump has lawyers to make sure a judge would look at it and say that it is all valid in the jurisdiction where the property is. Second, he is both a manager and an owner of world class properties; so there may be a conflict of interest in trusting Trump. If you hire him as a manager (or his company) are the policies of the management company just trying to get the property to become cheaper relative to before starting project projections to make sure the project fails? Then as the property fails, then the property is bought by Trump or a firm co-owned by Trump so that Trump looks more successful? It is an interesting business tactic that if true can lead to the idea that Trump is legit all the way until you find yourself being cheated by the tactics of investor versus business-bully with an a-la-carte lawyer firms (business and real estate.)
